Oh man, let me tell you about my maternity session with Jessica in Knoxville! First of all, she's a total artist. You can just feel the soul she puts into her work. We drove all the way to Knoxville to have our photos taken by her, and it was definitely worth the trip. And let me tell you, my boyfriend is usually like a deer in headlights in front of the camera, but somehow Jessica worked her magic and got some amazing shots of us. Not even I can do that and I live with the guy.
Her studio was simple but she seriously made it work, getting so much variety in our gallery. She describes herself as 'earthy + moody with a nostalgic flair' and man is that spot on. The vibe of our photos was so editorial and film-like, it's like we were models for a day! I'm seriously obsessed with how they turned out. I cannot stop looking at them.
Let's be real, most women don't feel beautiful at the end of their pregnancy. But Jess worked her magic and brought out the confidence I needed. She allowed and encouraged us to bring our personality and lifestyle into the studio, and thus into the gallery. It felt so personal and intimate. She made it feel like we'd been friends for years.
